New Beginnings believes that the church should serve a function similar to that of a hospital, moving alongside others, down the road to a healthier life. Many of us come from a painful past that has a firm grip on our present. These unhealthy roots spring up in our marriages, families and other relationships along our path in life. I want to encourage all of you. There is good news? We don’t have to face the future alone and we can change the way we do things. ADDICTION RECOVERY and SUPPORT
The JAMES CLUB provides a consistent 12-step group based on AA’s original conception founded in the Bible’s Book of James with God as the basis for healing. These groups provide accountability, sponsorship, and fellowship as its members work through the steps in overcoming their addiction. (Co-ed) All of these groups run throughout the year. UP FROM THE ASHES: WEEKEND ENCOUNTER An incredibly healing women’s study geared toward child loss as the result of an abortion, yet many have found healing from child loss grief regardless the circumstance. Author of Up from the Ashes: A Handbook for Healing, Jennifer Disney (Professional Master Life Coach and Recovery Specialist) has assembled an amazing group of compassionate women anxious to facilitate healing as you grow individually and together during the course of an anointed week-end!

Only when a husband and wife know and respect each other’s needs, choices, and freedom can they give themselves freely and lovingly to one another. Boundaries are the “property lines” that define and protect husbands and wives as individuals. Once they are in place, a good marriage can become better, and a less-than-satisfying one can even be saved. MANAGING YOUR ANGER Life is full of frustrations – some big, some little. And while you might not be ready to blow, it’s easy to grow angry in the wake of disappointment, hurt, rejection, and embarrassment. Anger is a reality of life. But it doesn’t have to control your life. In fact anger can be used for good – and can even change the world! In this study you will develop insights into why you get angry and what you can do about it as you learn to control this powerful emotion rather than allowing it to control you.
